Proving that you can never be too geeky, a number of students at Brown University, turned the campus library into an 12 story Tetris game called La Bastille. For five months, students worked to connect 10,000 lights to a Linux box and a wireless controller, which would allow students to sit blocks away from the library and play a leisurely game of Tetris. Here are some of their "at work" photos, my favorite of which is a student programming "fuzzy logic" on his Mac Classic.
There must be a master's thesis in there somewhere.
