I think this is the guy from austin. He lives near home street where each year they go crazy with christmass lights so we always go take the kids to see what we call "All the lights" In front of William's house he had this cool interactive digital christmas display. You would pick up one of the flash lights point it at what looked like a sheet and cool lava like patterns would form in reaction to where you shined the light. It was fun. Nice to see him with a web log.

BoingBoing points us to the newly launched blog of science fiction writer William Gibson. This is the guy who coined the word "cyberspace." Watch it. Think.
His first posting includes a reference to Thomas Pynchon, another of my favorite writers:
