I would love to learn more about the k-12 activities in the blogspace.

Blogging in Academia...K-12?. The good news is that a Blogging in Academia session has been added to the BloggerCon lineup. The not so good news is that the description shows it's geared pretty exclusively to the post high school set; note the first line: "The modern university embodies a paradox."

Now I didn't read too closely, but of the 360 or so BloggerCon registrants, I'm guessing there are a handful of K-12 educators attending, and there may be some others who have an interest in the use of blogs with younger kids. So I'm wondering if some might want to convene a BOF at some point to talk issues more relevant to K-12 use. Anyone interested? [Weblogg-ed News]

That sounds very cool. Now I need to get a new CE device to play.

Skype CE. A stripped down version of Skype for Windows CE handhelds (needs a PDA with a wireless connection) is now available according to their news blogFAQDownload.  It also supports conference calls (not available for the CE version) for up to 5 callers and call holding for up to 16 calls.  It's free, secure (encrypted), high-fidelity, and P2P.  Finally a reason to own a CE wireless handheld.
