I'm having a gut reaction about what I see people doing with computers. Not the surfer or hacker or graphic designer, but the accounting department and the supply department and the 'general' public. Don't take this as a dis of weblogs, they're quite an innovation. My feeling is there is something more, something big. The link How to Design the Perfect Product is just another pointer to looking at new ideas/products.

Had a great weekend!! Then a busy Monday. Now am back at the more focused areas of my daily routine. Caught the Boone County Fair's Old Time Fiddlers Contest. My Dad played some backup flat top for a couple of the competitors and there was also alot of jam session playing that went on before and after the event. Could see he was having a exceptionally good time, and so did the rest of us. Life is good...

This quote from my Infoworld daily email rings true for me. The bolding is my editorial slant. It is from their article J.D. Edwards' ease of use attracts customers".
"It's one thing to buy software and stick it on a server and have the network capacity to run it; it's another thing to get a return on that investment. Business process is where the value comes from."
--J. D. Edwards CEO Bob Dutkowsky
