By way of certain e-mail sources: What my name would have been had I lived long past my natural span, a walking abhorrence to all that is true and good in the world, blood and death pluming in a ghastly wake behind me in the night.
For those less venturesome, hobbit names. I would have been Popo Bolger, that is, Porphyrio Bolger of the Basilton Bolgers, a hobbit of little consequence but held in some regard for his probity and insight.
