We lost touch shortly after the room broke up, but he found me by using Google© search (not “googling,” please do not sue me) for Joe Marques of Winter Hours, a guy who often crashed at our place. He still owes me money. Joe, that is, not Mike.

Go on, give Mike a listen. There are a couple of MP3s there.

I still recall a two-guitar improvised jam that the Mike and Joe did of “Roadside Flowers” in our common room. (The song was off of Joe’s second album.)
