Whew! An asteroid flew by the Earth on June 14. And we didn't know it until three days later. It was well within the Moon's orbit, as shown in the map at the link. Though the exact details of an impact scenario depend on the rock's composition, had it hit Earth the event would have been been "Tunguska-like," with a force rivaling the largest H-bombs. 11:18:11 PM
