As a regular user of mozilla I have been more than satisfied with it as a browser and an email client. Previously I used Netscape for both purposes. I had read about mozilla being an application platform but did not see anything convincing in that department. However, the remote application article at O'Reilly turned my head. It describes the Mozilla Amazon Browser that is quite nifty. If you have mozilla you can try it out online. Yes, this is worth pursuing.

While in the US and relaxing in my motel room I was amazed at the number  of junky TV channels. The regular ones (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX) are nothing special. What impressed me, however, was PBS. I watched their Avoiding Armageddon program whenever I could. The European channels could learn something from them.
