A picture named feinstein.gifWilliam Grosso nails it. "I've become something very close to a single-issue voter. Diane Feinstein, my local senator, is on Disney's side. She is a co-sponsor of S. 2048 and that means I probably won't be voting for her in the next election." Amen to that. Same here. These people work for us, they need a reminder.   [Scripting News]

To which Dr. Bonzo says, "Amen!" and "Whaddya think, Mitch?"Senator Mitch McConnell

We liked the Brick Testament so much that when The Shifted Librarian pointed us towards Lost in Translation, we just had to try it:

At the time when Yahweh God made earth and heaven there was as yet no wild bush on the earth nor had any wild plant yet sprung up, for Yahweh God had not sent rain on the earth, nor was there any man to till the soil. Instead, water flowed out of the ground and watered all the surface of the soil. (Gen. 2:4-6)

"babelizes" into this:

At the moment like the Earth, this was given the form of the God and the sky of Yahweh, now did not have until wild shrubs of the reason nevertheless any each wild examinación made of the birth of the God the plant, due to Yahweh was had transmitted nonrain of the reason, none that all the man had it on the other hand to make dirty here.  In the place of this he sprinkled the Earth in the left and you he sprinkled the whole Earth surface.

Hmm.  "Babelizes."  Interesting choice of word in this context, no?

Again, with Gen. 11:7:

'Come, let us go down and confuse their language there, so that they cannot understand one another.'

becomes:

'Come, it comes underneath the vacations and it confuses its language here we, of the way that cannot do include/understand another one.'

This is hilarious, and enormously well done.  Thanks to Shitistan, via Doc, for the link.
