I hope that more attorney/bloggers interested in disability rights begin discusiing the problems of accomodating individuals on the autism/asperger's spectrum on our college campuses. For example, should they be treated differently if their speech is viewed (perhaps incorrectly) as threatening? What if they continually interrupt professors with questions and the professor feels that this is interfering with his/her class? What if they (again unknowingly) harrass a student of the opposite sex and this is viewed by that student as sexual harrassment??
I would love to see conversation generated about this subject which is sure to be a hot topic in the next few years.
