SARC has raisedW32.Netsky.D @ mm to a Category 4. It is a mass-mailing worm which arrives with varied email subject, body, and attachment.
The Subject, Body, and Attachment names vary, however the attachment will have a .pif file extension. NEVER open a email attachment that has a .PIF extension, NEVER! I don't care who it is from.
One of the interesting ways to know you are infected is that the program will (if it is between 6:00am and 9:00am on a Tuesday, March 2, 2004) will beep in a continuous loop. Each beep will be for a random period of time, at a random frequency.
Symantec Security Response has also posted a tool to remove infections caused by W32.Netsky.D @ mm.
