The Middle East Club of Four Is Founded in Sharm Debka - The most significant feature of the four-way summit that took place on Tuesday, February 8, at the Egyptian Red Sea resort to Sharm el-Sheikh, was that it was the first time in Israel’s 57 years’ life that one of its leaders was asked to join three Arab rulers at any forum without outside mediators or an international aegis. Don't misunderstand, Debka is not the most reliable source in the world.  I don't think Seymour Hersh is either, but for some reason the world listens to him. Saskatchewan premier looks for revenue deal Toronto Star, Canada - Saskatchewan Premier Lorne Calvert has warned Prime Minister Paul Martin that he wants an oil-revenue deal for his province similar to the accord awarded Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. Speaking to about 200 people at an Empire Club luncheon at the Royal York Hotel yesterday, Calvert said the Jan. 28 Atlantic Accord signals a sea change in the Canadian federation. "We've welcomed the Atlantic Accord. It is obviously good news for Newfoundland and Labrador. It's obviously good news for Nova Scotia as they develop their challenging off-shore resources," he said.
