I'm in SCL right now being the judge for the local ACM tryouts. I think that my sweet 76-line BAT file is one of the cooler things I've done this week. Is that sad?

Idea: RSS2PDF. Just download a bunch of RSS files, XSL them to LaTeX, run pdflatex on them. I remember sophmore year (almost 3 years ago) when Chris (cdc3) wrote his resume in XML and had XSL's to HTML, TXT, and LaTeX.
I think I'll miss LaTeX most of all once I start work at Microsoft. There's just something about compiling your documents and using XEmacs.

I had an interesting talk with a student in 345 (the class which I'm TAing). Basically, his argument was that it takes about 5 hours to do the assignment, and about 10 additional hours to get an A (90+). I was like, "My job is not to make you comfortable, my job is to make you strong."
I wish I had TA's who thought like that. I'd rather have a class be too difficult than too easy. And it's been awhile since I've had a difficult class, unless you count getting up before noon as "difficult".

So, I had to restart already: I tried out FTP, but the links were off, so I disabled it. Oops: that broke the Radio site.
Also, Radio says I have -1900316K free. Nice.
