Nickelodeon's secret agenda revealed. "Plans by the Nickelodeon cable television network to air a special on homosexuality and same-sex parenting have outraged thousands of parents, many of whom are threatening to tune out the show - or cancel it altogether. According to a poll conducted by CNSNews on June 4-5, 99 percent of 15,227 the people responding did not believe it was appropriate for the kid's channel Nickelodeon to air a show about homosexuality." Ok, there's a lot of handwaving in this Slashdot comment, but "it stuns me that people who want secure software don't simply use secure languages" is an interesting point. It isn't that simple, and security won't come instantly, but even something like Cyclone would be preferable to C. (Their paper is pretty good, too.)
