This afternoon I went over to visit my friends at Helixe. This is sort of a ressurection of GameFx and some folks from LG. Helixe has done some unbelievable things with the GBA. Their game, Star Wars: The New Droid Army, has real 3D characters with 100-120 polygons, dynamic lighting and shadows! And this is on a device with 256K of memory! I was just totally blown away with what they've done over there. Rafael Baptista is one of the best programmers I've ever known and its great to see him doing so well with this project. They've produced five titles in the past three years that have collectively sold over a million copies world wide. Sweet!!
