Volunteers who have converged on the Mexican border to watch for illegal immigrants are disrupting U.S. Border Patrol operations by unwittingly tripping sensors that alert agents to possible intruders, an agency spokesman complained Monday.

The Department of Homeland Security's plan to shift more than 700 border patrol agents to Arizona has some Texas lawmakers seriously worried.
The buildup eventually will include 155 seasoned border patrol agents, 379 trainees as they graduate and 200 agents on temporary assignment — all from border patrol stations in other Southern states, including Texas.
The law of unintended consequences is absolutely right. The Repugs never, I mean never, consider the unintended consequences of their bullshit. They spout off and this is exactly what they get - chaos. They sow chaos every time they open their mouths. I hope the sons of bitches in the Minutemen succeed in killing each other off. I really do. The average IQ of the country should go up by about 75 points if they manage to exterminate each other.
If these guys are so fucking concerned with illegal immigrants why don't they go pick some strawberries and lettuce for $1 an hour instead of playing fucking "Army Man" on the border.
