But as activist judges, activist doctors, activist husbands, and inactivist governors come under fire from the Culture of Life, remember, Randall Terry, or at least a guy who sounds a lot like Randall Terry, is blaming the Culture of Moron Lawyers.

I just read this over at ABCNews, and I thought that Doctors, with all that education, would be smarter than this:
April 5, 2005 — The good news reached the Jamestown, N.Y., office of Dr. Rudolph Mueller in a fax from a congressman in Washington. Mueller had been named 2004 Physician of the Year.
"My secretary came running in and said, 'Dr. Rudy, look at what you've won, you're Physician of the Year,' " said Mueller, an internist.
But to receive the award in person at a special two-day workshop in Washington last month, Mueller found out that he would have to make a $1,250 contribution to the National Republican Congressional Committee. It was a disturbing discovery, he said.
Mueller soon found he was not the only winner. There were hundreds of Physicians of the Year present, many of whom found the criteria for being selected equally as opaque.
Gee, no wonder Republicans are so easily tricked into believing things like WMD was found in Iraq and that Saddam Hussein was behind the 9/11 attacks.
If some brainy Republican doctors didn't get extremely pissed about being duped by Tom Delay and immediately demand their money back, then they must be masochists who really, really like giving money to get screwed under false pretenses...just like Iraq.
If one of these scammed "Physicians of the Year" were my doctor, I would really have to reconsider putting my health in the hands of such a dumb doctor...besides giving them any money to pass onto the likes of Tom Delay's "brains and morals-challenged" political party.
I wonder who else Tom Delay scammed besides the dumb doctors. Republican "Dentist of the Year"? "Foreign Lobbyist of the Year"? "Dog Catcher of the Year"? "Garbageman of the Year"? "Socialite of the Year"? "Governor of the Year"? "White House Correspondent of the Year"? Hot Military Stud of the Year?
Aaah, that explains it. Now I understand why the Republican-oppressed U.S. Congress can't seem to find the time to investigate one criminal act piled on top of another (like prisoners at Abu Ghraib) committed by the Bush administration. They are too busy holding awards ceremonies in Washington where everyone receives the same prize after donating a hefty sum to the Republican Party.
