Pets Up for Adoption The Prince George's County SPCA/Humane Society will offer dog and cat adoptions from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at PETsMART, Gateway Center, 4500 Mitchellville Rd., Bowie. The pets' foster people will be on hand to answer questions and accept adoption applications. The adoption fee per dog is $150; $90 per cat. Spaying and Neutering Clinic The Spay/Neuter Clinic of SPCA/Humane Society of Prince George's County offers low-cost spaying/neutering for your pet. Prince George's County SPCA needs volunteers for administrative help at dog and cat adoption shows; transporting animals to and from the shows; exercising and feeding boarded dogs at the spaying and neutering clinic; providing short or long-term foster case for animals; writing, assembling and distributing the SPCA newsletter; and providing services such as dog training, legal advice and accounting services.
