Reading headlines, and as much of bits of news as I can stand, and reflecting on the truly stupendous insanity of our government, Congress included, and on top of that some Saudi investors come to the aid of SCO, a once-great company that now deserves to die a quick and compassionate death. . . and I tune in to one of the great movies, Little Big Man, on TCM, just in time to hear Dustin Hoffman's character say:
The world was too ridiculous even to bother to live in it.
And I think, if only he knew how much more ridiculous it could get.
