It's been two months since Democrat Will Jordan filed to run for congress against incumbent-for-life Howad Coble, and his campaign is still invisible. No web presence. Virtually no media coverage.

Maybe he's got something great to unleash on the 6th district in the weeks to come, and he's in stealth mode now as he raises money and plots his course...

Or maybe he's just not going to run a real campaign.

"It's curious, what we know and what we think we know about other people, what matters to us about them, what we take with us when they are gone. Every portrait in our mind's eye of a real person is a collage, the elements of which we focus and project upon according to our own experiences, preferences, and needs."

My newspaper column is about memory and loss. Read the whole thing.
