I heard a good cover tune on Radio K this morning.  Steve Earl's cover of The Flying Burrito Bros.  "My Uncle".  Well done, but really out of step with the times!   This song just sounded wrong.  "I'm not sure how much I owe my Uncle, but I'm sure its more than I can pay...  So I'm headed to the nearest foreign border Vancouver might just be my kind of town."     It adds to my suspicions that Steve Earl is an idiot.    8:15:14 AM    comment []
