Boy did the parish picnic suck this year.  To punish the flock for not giving enough money, the powers dispensed with the tent.  A mid-August parish picnic needs a tent.  Those that stayed clusted in the shade of a tree and left much earlier than they would have otherwise.  A lot of people were grumbling about it.  The kids had a good enough time, but got sunburned.  Damn Catholic hiearchy sunburned my kids. 1:36:42 PM    comment []
