The existing lake survey database has two tables related to the fish caught, AGE and RECCATCH.  AGE has the fish_id, the age of the fish, and the method used to age the fish.  (Age could be from measuring bony structures such as scales otoliths and spines, or it could be from a fin clip or it could be calculated from statistical tables),  Fish Weight, Fish Length, Fish Species, Fish Sex, Survey Date, Location The RECCATCH table stores very similar information but does not have the age in there.  The feeling is that we will combine these two tables for the new lake survey program into a table simply called RECCATCH and do away with age altogether.  MAKE IT SO. 5:59:07 PM    comment []
