Fort Snelling State Park Picnic Last night I brought the kids to a picnic with Lis, Scott, Sarah, Charlie and their kids. We went to Fort Snelling State Park. They have a beach and playground there. We were the only picnickers, I guess because it had rained a little that afternoon. I always get refreshed when I get together with those guys. We played baseball. I was astounded to see Maggie hit the ball off of a pitch. I didn't know she could do that. There was a tremendous amount of energy released there. The kids looked so ecstatic, running to first base, not having anyone tell them to stand still, be quiet, be patient. And sooooo tiring for them. I had to carry the kids to their beds after we got home.
