The same yet different I found a bunch of 1970's issues of Time and Newsweek.  I had a Philip K. Dick moment where I felt like I was looking at a magazine from an alternate universe. Things were the same, but different.  Different people wearing different clothes doing the same things people in this world do.  There are younger versions of people we see in the news, like Dennis Kucinich as Mayor of Cleveland or the Kennedy clan visiting a Mosque in Iran. We see people we thought were dead come to life like here's Sadat having a laugh with some other Arab Nationalists.     There's Ringo Starr posing in front of a donut shaped fireplace he invented.    9:05:26 AM    comment []
