'Bubble Speak' and Other Concerns
Viral, Sticky, Eyeballs, Decapitation and Other Internet Lexicon From A Bygone Era. I used to love those client meetings where the VP of Marketing in his self-important, authoritarian and demanding manner would remove his eyeglasses and shake them at our team when he explained he wanted to create a marketing campaign that would drive more eyeballs to his company's website. And the site itself would have to be "sticky" and that we really need to "do" something very "viral".

Ah for all the fodder of the hey day of the internet bubble this lexicon was incubated and bred by t... [for the sake of clarity - The Digital Tavern]

By Stefano. [..:digital||divide:..]

'I Don't Recall Owning a Droid'
"Rest easy there, son, for you've had quite a day. Tell me, what brings you so far astray?" "Well, this droid is seeking his master it seems. Calls him Obi-Wan. Lives out this way."

"Obi-Wan?" Ben then repeated out loud. "I have not heard that name for a while." "So you know him?" Luke asked. "Well of course I do, lad! He is me!" Ben proclaimed with a smile.

"I've not used that name since before you were born, Thought I don't recall owning a droid. For now, we'd best leave 'fore the raiders return, A reunion I'd rather avoid." - from Rebelaid
