Waiting on a Jury . . .
As much as I am drawn to trying cases - criminal cases - to juries, the "high" is always subdued by the agony of waiting on a jury. I always seem to feel so out of control -- probably because I am! What are they thinking? What do the facial expressions mean when the walk into the jury room? Well I will keep pondering these things and keep hoping that my client will be sent home to his family!
