One of the main complaints concerning the anti-war movement has been its lack of an alternative to combat. . .but that's not stopping them from looking for a message going forward. . .this quote about the movement's feelings about how the war turned out speaks volumes:

Leaders in the movement do not like to focus on the notion that they lost. Yes, they failed to stop the war. Yes, the public has overwhelmingly supported President Bush's actions. With a swift United States victory over a brutal dictator and fewer casualties than most experts predicted, it is particularly hard for antiwar organizers to argue that their dire forecasts were right.

They didn't stop the war, the public agreed with our President, and the dire forcasts didn't come true and now the movement is looking for a new message? Well I suppose hope always springs eternal and surely the anti-war supporters can do better this time. . .
