This is why we can't possibly expect peace in the Middle East until Hamas is taken out of the equation in the only way they understand--violence. . .I fully support Israel's actions to target Hamas leaders, political or military. . .when a group actively targets civilians, I think all bets are off. . . It's interesting that the word "terror" or "terrorist" doesn't show up until the second page. . .and then this:

and you have to wonder how one could be intellectually honest and say the Israeli leaders need to search for a way to end the killing when your own people just carried out the current terrorist attack. . . But then intellectual honesty isn't something terrorists are known for. . . |

A good article on how Bush ought to be handling the situation in Iraq. . .it's not often that I agree with Slate but Saletan writes good stuff and his view on Iraq is almost identical to mine, I'm just not sure I could have put it so well. . . We had a job to do that the international community was unwilling to do. . .to continue to play the WMD card when nothing is showing up seems to weaken our hand. . . Yeah it's official, I've lost all writing talent. . . |
