They're gone down the road, back to Los Angeles......and 'twas a pleasure having them. The Caspar Inn was alight with good folks, good music and good fun. We rehearsed for four hours during the day then went in there and played four hours of music. We were able to do much more original material than just the Bold Montgomery record. We even got to go way back and play some of those old rock and roll favorites. When I play up here it is usually with a different group of people every time, so the song list changes according to what everyone knows. This was a pleasure because not only are Michael and Craig an ultra-fine rhythm section but they know a ton of original songs I never get to play...I am looking forward to doing that again. Could be in L.A. Be on the lookout around June 28th or 29th.......if it happens it'll be at 14 Below in Santa Monica......we played there for the first time in twelve years last February 2nd......I had never played there before and was relieved when I walked in and on the wall by the stage was a large print of a photo taken of Bob Dylan at the Concert for Bangladesh......sweet surrender, everything's gonna be all right.....
