Hmm... more manufactured serendipity. This time for testing.

Ian makes me sound like a weird programming version of Obi-wan here. Today I started to dive in and start really building up my blogging tool in Cocoa.

But alas! I missed JUnit. So I went and downloaded Sen:te's OCUnit.

I tried man - I really did. I ran the installer- it oddly asked me for root access - which I granted grudgingly. Everything seemed to install just great.

But I couldn't figure out how to make the darn thing work. Some weirdness about integrating with ProjectBuilder and some weird command line tool. Arrgh!

Found ObjcUnit at the Oops web site. Downloaded, compiled and installed the framework. Everything works great!

It integrates nicely with ProjectBuilder and it 'feel's more like JUnit than SUnit (Smalltalk Unit).

Now I write my code, pick my test target, click build/run and whamo!

OK (1 tests)
AllTests has exited with status 0.

Go see it.

I did have a nice review of it with witty comments and links, but then IE crashed on me.

Craptacular....

If you like the movie - you'll also probably like the humour of Bill Hicks . Go grab it from your record store or directly from Rykodisc here.

It's good for your mental hygeine.
