An interesting article on the use of Dragon Dictate in the law office. I have dabbled with Dragon for about a year and it can do some truly amazing things. I'm not sure that most lawyers would have the patience to put the software to use. It does take some dedication.
The software has some difficulties with proper names and some of the more archaic words that lawyers use. Its correction and learning functions can be a little frustrating at times. It also needs a hefty computer to run reasonably well. All that considered, I still use the software and I will likely increase the use of it in my practice.
I note that the author, Andrew Roman, practices just around the corner from me - small world - and I have to find him in the ABA publication.
