Stock symbols are now globalized. Go to reuters.com and enter Home Depot and click Go, or click on this link. A most amazing list of ticker symbols comes up for Home Depot. It includes all the different ticker symbols for Home Depot that are used on various US and foreign exchanges, where ever it trades.
By entering the symbol HD.N you get a quote from the New York Stock Exchange. HD.B takes you to the Boston stock exchange for a quote. HD. MW takes you to Chicago. You might prefer to go to Germany.
