Summer has arrived!
It was 66 degrees yesterday (record breaking) and about the same today or even warmer. Today is a beautiful Alaskan summer day.
Wonders of wonders---the leaves are suddenly out! The trees had a tinge of green yesterday, and today they are definitely pale green. They completely skipped the reddish hue stage of buds. We went from brown nothingness to green in two days. For me, that is a yearly wonder of Alaska.
