The Red Lantern Pennant Race
L and I are getting ready to settle in for the beginning of a five game series that should decide the Red Lantern Pennant for the American League. Our rainy day comfort food is in almost ready, and the ingredients for our 7th Inning root beer floats are ready and standing by---our endurance reward.
Of course, because this is the opening day for the Alaska State Fair it is pouring rain and has been all day. I've looked out several times today to see if our pond/fountain is overflowing---not yet, but the water is beginning to "run 'round" . Okay, who out there knows what that means?
