Here's a superb piece of satire relating to the debate about whether to invade Iraq or not. Another guy I'll have to read more of, and visit more often. Got the link from here (as I did the Times piece on Zimbabwe, linked below). Got to him via a whole series of links. As I said before, blogging reminds me a great deal of my early days browsing the world-wide web, before the invention of sticky "portals", when one surfed from link to link, and came across the most surprising, sometimes profound, sometimes trivial things.

I'm delighted to see that the USA is considering taking action to get rid of the odious Robert Mugabe. My only concern is they are not going far enough. Maybe they should mount a dress rehearsal for Iraq, and take military action to take out Uncle Bob. A lot of people would rejoice if this happens. And he doesn't have weapons of mass destruction to threaten his enemies with, unless you consider AIDS to fall into that category.
Further on Mugabe: this article from The Times indicates just how far he has gone in absolutely devastating the economy of a once-prosperous and happy nation, and how much he has sold out to the equally odious Muammar Gadaffi.
