I've just had a very frustrating, very hot & humid 5 days in Athens, during which there was a fault on our telephone line, and despite constant calls to the faults number, no action. As we lugged our heavy bags down to the Metro this afternoon to come back to Zakynthos, there was a gang of very sweaty Albanians working in a huge ditch, with OTE tapes all around, so very likely, the fault was fixed after we left.
Needless to say, when I dialed in from Zakynthos, a clear and clean connection first time. That's Telecoms for you!
