"America! Keeping the world safe from single-malt scotch!" [Daypop Top 40] How bizarre!  The DTRA in USA, who monitor the possible production of chemical weapons, have been keeping a careful eye on the Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay, Scotland, since the distilling process is similar to that for producing chemical weapons.  But, why only that distillery?  What about Lagavulin, Laphraoig, Bunnahabin, not to mention all those in the Highlands and Speyside.  Must have their work cut out observing them all, not to mention all the alambic stills in France and elsewhere.
