Today was going to be another intensive writing day but I got sidetracked by the need to go and buy an iron and ironing board to prepare for a job interview in the morning. And the sales have started so I saved loads, naturally, on all those absolutely essential bargains - such as rawl plugs, and dinner plates. Then a trip to the chinese supermarket for curry paste, coconut milk and prawn crackers. Listening to the BBC World service in the car yielded a report on another interesting study carried out in the UK. Some call it immigration, I think we're looking at something much bigger here in Europe. A true exodus of millions, migrating accross dangerous routes via truck, ferry, wheelbarrow and on foot.
