ITworld covers the news that RealNetworks is offering the source code to their media player. However they are not releasing the source to their codecs. Does this mean there will finally be a way to play Real streams without all those blinking ads? 8:22:49 AM

Computer Graphics World has an article on RealViz's new product Stitcher EZ, which is targeted at digital camera users and provides a one-click solution to building panoramas. Stitcher EZ does full 360 stitching for single row shots and multi-row stitching of up to 3x3 initial images. Priced at 59 euros, it will be shipping in early November 2002 and runs on OS X and Microsoft Windows. 7:00:40 AM
