Canon announced a new digicam, the 8 mp, 7x zoom PowerShot Pro1. The DPreview story has a hands-on preview.
Canon announced 6 other cameras as well, and said they would be
announcing 20 new digicams this year. Maybe the obsolesence cycle
is getting shorter.
