Real pain dulled in virtual worlds -- article on BBCnews. Fantasy worlds created by virtual reality have been shown to provide a novel form of relief to patients suffering from intractable pain.

dpmac posted a tour of Nikon's D70 factory in Ayuthaya, Thailand. It would appear that they are ramping up for major production -- the factory employs 6000 and will be making 800000 cameras this year.
