I remember commenting to someone that when you could present VRs using
Flash, many people's objections to the technology (requiring QuickTime)
would evaporate.
Check out Oliver Mann's website with panoramas presented using Flash. It turns out there is a product called FlashVR Player from a German company which provides this capability.
The main limitation is it only supports cylindrical panoramas. There
are two configurations, a photographers edition which costs $73 and a
Developers Edition which costs $210.

Purpose |
VRlog provides news, developments and analysis of the virtual reality (VR) world from a nature photographer's perspective. Since I am not connected to or funded by any VR vendor, I intend to objectively appraise what's going on, and the direction VR is headed in. -- erik goetze
