Apple introduces iPod Photo: "Apple's new iPod Photo is a new version of the famous portable music player which can also be used to share your photos.
It has a 2-inch LCD display which can show one image at a time, or 25 small thumbnails. It can also be hooked into a television by using the included A/V cable or photo dock. Images get transferred to the iPod via the iTunes 4.7 software or the optional Belkin Media Reader, and the albums you've
created in iPhoto or Adobe Photoshop Elements/Album are brought over.
The iPod Photo is available in 40GB and 60GB sizes and is priced at $499 and
$599, respectively."

QuickTime Won't Make Quick Time To Cell Phones: " While Apple competitors Microsoft and Real prefer to attack the burgeoning market for cell phone entertainment by having handset makers embed their media players directly into phones, Apple doesn't see the need, Apple Senior Director Frank Cassanova said. Major cell phone carriers already use QuickTime on their servers that manage media for photo e-mailing and other new services. By Ben Charny, CNET News.com "
