Time Zone Changes

I'm back in South Dakota (how many times have I blogged that line?).  Tonight I'm going to see The Two Towers again in part because I planned to but also to keep awake.  When you make a time zone jump east all you want to do after work is sleep - a seductive desire but with the worst outcome: you wake up at midnight or 1:00 am and can't sleep again until the early morning.  Then you feel the same way after work the following day.  So the best thing is to drink coffee and find something to do outside the hotel room so that when you collapse into bed you sleep all night.

I'm keen on blogging about a few things in the future: the second book I got from Norway, Maya by Jostein Gaarder -

If there is a Creator, what is he?  And if there isn't a Creator, what is this world?

There were elections in the country of my adolescence.  Those make for some interesting observations but ones which require more depth and clarity than can be mustered at present.

I'm also finding good blogs everywhere - I'll start to incorporate these into entries, or merit each with a small entry.  Right now people are buzzing about something called the Semantic Web.  More on that later too...

Oh, and finally I've got to get my .NET samples in order and posted to my site.  Way high on the todo list, mental note as well.

In short: high hopes for the blogging of 2003 but right now avoidance of sleep and then sleep before the morrow.
