30, 000 feet and Extraordinarily Personal
The old Northwest 757 is lurching about at the moment, breaking everyone's concentration except those with the blessed gift of being able to sleep in the recycled cabin air. I can see the moon from my window and I'm enjoying Enjoy The Silence courtesy of my laptop. Maybe we're over Nevada or Utah - my stopwatch says 1 hour 25 minutes to landing.
Today I realized that I live in a one star motel in South Dakota and visit Los Angeles occasionally. May the weekend make me feel Californian again.
