I'm not taken with American or English design, but prefer Bauhaus School as well much of what happened in Northern Europe over the past hundred years. Sukie and I both like Stokke and I enthusiastically recommend them as a designer of comfortable yet interesting furniture. Proof that there is more to Norway than the paperclip!

The paperclip is one of those truly wonderful inventions that is both simple and useful - there is something about it that almost seems fundamental. Norway and Nazi resistance are invoked in the story.
