When you install RedHat Linux 7.3, make sure you install the RedHat update agent that is included and activate it through the RedHat web site. It is a simple process and a powerful way to keep your installation current.

As an example, if you log on with GNOME desktop you will notice a blue circle with a white check mark in the bottom right hand corner of the toolbar. If there is an update available, this will turn into a red circle with a white exclamation mark. Simply clicking on this icon will take you through the steps of downloading and installing the latest updates.

RedHat provides one complimentary basic level account to allow for updating. They will also notify you via email when updates are available. Premium accounts can be purchased for a small fee. What a nice feature to graphically keep your installation at the latest levels.
