Entrepreneurship or the Environment?
In many ways, the success of entrepreneurial business on the economic frontier is tied to environmental health.  Increasingly, this realization is a point of concensus.  That's not to say that the tensions between the general environmental good and specific business objectives have diminished.  That was evident this past weekend at the Sierra Business Council's annual conference at Mammoth Mountain, California.  There's no particular reason we should expect the dialog to get any easier, but I'm optimistic, nevertheless, that a new age of entrepreneurial success can contribute to a more productive alignment with environmental and community values.  More»
