Merry Christmas everyone!!! I hope everyone awkoke this morning to a drama-less holiday. Spent the first few hours of Christmas with Aaron and his Czech co-worker Sandy (a guy) at the hotel. Sandy is the son of one of the handymen around the hotel. He and his family came to the US about 3 years ago. I was very suprized at how well he spoke English! I know most Europeans are educated in English and the such, but wow! He spoke better than my friend Christian from Germany. Aaron invited him to the NYE party in Redondo. Woke up this morning and my family opened some gifts. I got a few gift certificates (one for the salon I go to, one to Gap and one to Sephora!!!!), some neat-o socks, 2 belts, a picture frame, a watch and a camera. My Sephora gift certificate came in a mirror case which was inside a green drawstring silky pouch. If you know me, I love anything that's silky. I used to have pajamas and pillows and sheets like that as a little girl and it's the one thing that can put me to sleep. Tonight my immediate family is having a nice dinner in the dining room we never ever use lol

Quite a few of my friends will be home alone for the holiday. One is even working tonight! I asked Jason to call me if he's home alone tonight. I don't like seeing my friends so sad and depressed (and working!) on Christmas. We're having dinner quite early here (around 4) so I might be able to get out for awhile and make some people happy :) I should be finishing this cd now. I hope everyone has a happy holiday season!
